The wood-fired pizzas were delicious and generously sized, and I can definitely recommend the 2024 Pinot Noir. We had a lovely Mother’s Day catch-up at this beautiful vineyard. It’s a small family business with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. I work in hospitality, and I’d gladly recommend this lovely family-run place.

We ended up coming back the very next day because we enjoyed the wine and how welcome we felt. On our first visit, we’d spotted the vineyard on the drive home towards Mount Wellington and it looked so inviting that we decided to stop. Our hike ran longer than expected, so we arrived close to closing, but that was fine. One of the owners chatted with us about wine, then we had a short sit on the patio. We’d highly recommend it, and we’ll be back!

Those chocolates were so incredible that we ate every one in the car park, and I still think about them. We’d found Every Man and His Dog on Google and stopped in when they were nearly closing, planning just to grab some choccies and go. It was lovely hearing one of the owners talk about their success and seeing how small, family-run and handmade the operation is. It felt very wholesome. The handmade chocolates were beautifully decorated, and the one we tried in the car was hands down the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never really written a review before, but I can’t wait to come back on our next trip and try the wine.

They make chocolates on site, and you can sit down with a chocolate tasting platter alongside the wine tasting. It’s a small boutique winery but has a surprising range of wines. There’s also a friendly dog around, which explains the name. They label the bottles when you buy them, with a choice of his, hers or dog labels.

The chocolate-covered peanut brittle is absolutely to die for, and the pizza was delicious too. I loved the light, beautiful Miscela di Campo wine. This small family-run winery and chocolate factory has such a lovely feel, and you can sense how much passion goes into everything. Highly recommend a stop!
