Our first night in Tassie was warm and comfortable in these gorgeous historic buildings, renovated with care. The hostess was lovely, and her thoughtful touches made the place feel special. Richmond is a pretty, well-preserved town, with so many old, well-kept buildings. It’s amazing!

Maureen’s bubbly, warm personality is a real winner, and it’s easy to see why Mulberry Cottage gets such great reviews. We loved our stay in the Garden Cottage and will be back. The accommodation is beautifully and lovingly restored, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. This hidden gem is full of history, a short walk from Richmond’s main street, and includes a lovely breakfast each morning. Thank you!

One night wasn’t enough to take in the atmosphere and character of Richmond and its local wineries. From check-in, we felt welcome and were struck by the attention to detail and finish. Our cottage was spacious, homely and beautiful. The breakfast hamper was the perfect end to the stay, delivered to our room while we sat at the dining table looking out over the lovely gardens. It felt like a home away from home!

Maureen’s amazing pancakes, brought hot to you for breakfast, are an added treat on top of the lovely breakfast ingredients already in the cottage. Everything is immaculate, with no detail overlooked. If you want a wonderful getaway in Richmond, Tasmania, stay at Mulberry Cottage. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favour and book a stay.
