Discovery Parks - Hobart

My wife, sister and baby are still there after a couple of nights, and the service has already been incredible. The staff helped them get checked in before the usual time, took care of their bags, and even drove them to the room in a buggy to make things easier with my daughter. I’m blown away by how helpful they’ve been. We’ll absolutely stay here every time we come back to Tasmania.

The reception lady was so lovely and made us feel welcome. Our cabin was outstanding and had everything we needed, and there was plenty to do with my 2 year old. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back 😁🙂

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get to Hobart and the surrounding area. We had a problem with the hot water, which was annoying. Since we only stayed one night, I don’t know whether it got fixed. Still, I’d happily come back. It’s a good spot and the staff were excellent.

The room was clean, and the kids enjoyed the play area. The washing machine in the room was handy, though a washer-dryer would be better, and a roof or awning over the deck would let guests use it in any weather. The friendly staff and location worked well for driving around the wider Hobart area, but the highway made it a bit noisy. I hadn’t realised when I booked that a prison was across the road, though the trees helped the view.
