Grey Masts, Robe

Grey Masts is lovely, with an airy, spacious house, eclectic furnishings, wonderful books and a friendly host. It can get a bit noisy at night because of the house's position, but that's a minor quibble.

The house made a great home for our week exploring Robe with two other couples. It was comfortable and relaxing, and had separate sleeping and sitting areas so we could all do our own thing without disturbing each other. There's plenty of glasses and plates for meals, plus lots of games, books and interesting art. The large table in the front room and the amazing outdoor area were favourites. The house is large, clean and stylish, and felt like a home away from home. We loved being on the Main Street and watching the world go by. The Cally and the beach are both across the road, and it's easy to get to the pub. JJ was kind, friendly and very helpful. Whenever we needed something, he brought it over. The two little dogs were a delight too. Charlie was much friendlier and kept popping in to say hello and have some toast. We loved it! We'd booked after feeling a little jealous when we walked past on our last trip, and the house didn't disappoint at all. It was amazing. Thank you, JJ. We'll be back for sure.

The host is lovely, on the property but pleasant and not intrusive at all. We're having the nicest time. The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean and so well presented. 10/10!

We had an amazing Christmas at Greymasts, gathered around the magnificent dining table. The courtyard and garden were incredible too. Thanks, JJ, for a wonderful stay.
