Greengate Bed and Breakfast

The gardens were stunning, and we were lucky enough to see the flowers during our stay. Sue and Tony were lovely hosts, with a good sense of humour, and we enjoyed chatting with them. The included breakfast was a nice classic one, too. We liked it so much that I came back with my parents, who plan to recommend Greengate to all their friends in Singapore. The rooms are comfortable and each has its own character, with both air conditioning and heating. The house design means you can stargaze from any room. I especially loved the bathroom in the green room and the view from the red room.

Tony welcomed me and was kind and accommodating. I enjoyed breakfast and our chat. The room was really comfortable, and the gardens were lovely. Such a nice place to spend a night, thanks so much :)

I’ve stayed here several times now, and every visit has felt magical. It’s so cosy, like a home away from home, and the welcome is always warm. I love this place!

Greengates was a convenient choice because it’s very close to our daughter’s wedding venue. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing grounds, which reflect the owner’s reputation as a gardener. The accommodation is well presented, with a certain period charm; the old furniture, including some antiques, is well kept. We liked Robertson and plan to return, and we’d definitely book Greengates again.
