The bed was comfy, but the hand towels in the bathroom were dirty and used, and the furniture was really badly worn. If you’re stuck, you could use the place, but it badly needs a revamp, or a torching and bulldozer. Should be about $80, if that.

You’re left to clean the bathroom after the previous guest, with only a bottle of hand sanitizer provided. Ours was covered in toothpaste and urine. This property should be delisted from booking agents. It’s a redevelopment site, so bad reviews, health code violations and non-compliance don’t seem to threaten them.

I got details saying I was in room 1, along with a code to collect the key. That part was fine, but the key wouldn’t open the door. With nobody around, I tried room 2 and that key worked. I messaged someone and was told that was okay, with no apology at all. I kept going, unsure whether room 2 might be booked for someone else. The whole thing felt wrong. There was no service. Wouldn’t recommend.

I knew the cancellation policy, but thought the proprietors might at least discuss my request to cancel. There was no such courtesy, and they were most unreasonable. $248 down the drain. Judging by the reviews, I may be better off despite the cost. What a disgrace.
