CBD Luxury Accommodation

Coles and restaurants are easy to reach on foot, and the location is handy for the hospital. We chose the place mainly for secure parking, but there are only about six secure spots. We managed to get one, though you aren't guaranteed a park and might end up on the street. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The coffee was phenomenal, but the restaurant food was overpriced and below par. The room had enough equipment, but the shower in our suite was awful, with weak water that covered half the slippery bathroom floor. There was mould in the shower and in all the floor grout, which was pretty icky. We stayed three nights after reading great reviews, so our expectations were high. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great for the money either. While we were out, the cleaners let themselves into our room. Nothing was touched, but I'd left my whole handbag there and wouldn't have done so if I knew they'd be coming in. Also, the air conditioning shuts off if any doors are open and takes at least five minutes to come back on.

The room was much bigger than we expected for the price, and the staff were lovely and helpful. We stayed over Easter and were very happy with it. There aren't many parking spaces, but the carpark feels very secure. The air conditioning turns off if any doors are open, then takes at least five minutes to start again. We'll definitely stay here when we come to Rockhampton, and I'd recommend it.

The rooms are good, but the amenities are awful. The gym doesn't work at all, even though they advertise having one, and the aircon vents need a clean.

I was in Rocky for work and stayed one night. The room was huge, clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, and the area was quiet. The spa bath was a nice bit of luxury, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I slept really well. I'd recommend the hotel. Restaurants and the city centre are about a five minute walk away, which was fine in October, though it could be a hot walk in the next few months.
