The location makes it easy to get to restaurants, an Irish pub, shops, the river precinct, a great gluten-free bakery and a French patisserie. It’s quiet, the owners and managers are lovely, and there’s even a little shop in the office. My room had a walk-in shower, and it came with plenty of useful things, comforts and treats. The beds and rooms are very comfortable. You can spot the train passing along the middle of the street a couple of blocks away, which is quite something. This was my third visit in eight months, and I’ll be back.

The owners are a very friendly couple, and the room was clean and well equipped. It’s a nice motel within walking distance of the few things Rockhampton has to offer. Worked perfectly for an overnight stop on our way to Brisbane.

There are places to eat within walking distance, so I’d happily stay again and recommend it. My one-night stay at Citywalk Hotel was really comfortable. The room felt a little dated, but it had a strong shower, biscuits for tea or coffee, a nice herbal tea option and a large TV. The woman at the front desk was very helpful.

For the price, this was worth staying at. It had new facilities, a microwave, biscuits and a USB charger beside the bed. It’s the cleanest place I’ve stayed in Queensland so far. After the Northern Territory, where a lot of the places I’d stayed had bugs and dirty sheets, this room was spotless and bug-free.

The room was on the small side, but still comfortable. A few pubs are an easy walk away for food, though you’ll need to drive to get to shops. The biscuits are great, and there’s plenty of soap. Really good motel.
