Quest Rockingham

The main issue was how much hallway noise came through the poorly soundproofed room door. We could easily hear guests coming and going. The staff were really nice and helpful, though, and the room had everything we needed and was nice overall. It was clean, apart from visible wear and tear in a few spots. A pleasant stay, and I’d still recommend the hotel.

The room felt comfortable and luxurious to us, and the staff were so helpful that nothing seemed like trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back, as well as recommend it to others.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was good. Our room was clean, large enough for what we needed despite not being especially spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I barely slept, though. On the fourth floor, there was a constant whistling, howling wind in the corridor and coming through our door. I mentioned it to reception in case they hadn’t heard about it, but they said they knew and were having trouble fixing it. Everything else was satisfactory, but I wouldn’t stay again without knowing the noise had been resolved. I was very disappointed to pay the normal room price despite management knowing about the issue.

Our bed in 504A was just right, not too hard or soft, and the room was spotless with a water view. We stayed four nights, and housekeeping replaced the towels daily when we left them on the bathroom floor. I was disappointed to get only two coffee pods per day, and would have liked at least two more. The Quest is about one and a half blocks from the beach road. When the wind picked up during dinner at a local restaurant, I was close enough to walk back for a jacket. We’ll definitely stay again.
