Queens Arms Hotel

The staff are great and the beer is a good price, as they have to compete. The room was okay for an overnight stay, but there are stairs galore, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a leg injury. On the way to the bathroom, I thought the floorboards might give way with every step. I was wondering if this was a law suit.

The relaxed atmosphere was even nicer with country music playing in the background, and the staff were friendly and welcoming both times. My first visit to Queens Arms Hotel was for baked salmon with boiled vegetables, which was fresh, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The tender vegetables went beautifully with it. I returned another day for lunch and had the beer-battered fish, served hot, light and crispy, just as it should be. Generous portions on both occasions. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Roma!

The cocktails didn’t disappoint when we stopped in for a drink at this great pub in the middle of Roma. The atmosphere and service were excellent. We’d eaten here on an earlier visit to Roma and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The service was pretty quick, though you need to arrive early to beat the long line at the bar. I had crumbed steak with Diane sauce, chips and salad. The steak was quite tender and crisp, and the chips and salad were just as good. The food was quite delicious.
