H Boutique Hotel

We couldn't stay even one night, despite booking two nights at M Boutique Hotel through Booking.com. After checking in around 3 pm and going to Room 506, we quickly found it was far below a basic standard of cleanliness. Dust covered the skirting boards and ceiling fan, there was mould on the shower ceiling and curtain, and the bathroom walls were cracked, dirty, and stained. We also found rubbish on the floor and a dead fly in the fridge. The room felt unhygienic and uninhabitable, so we left immediately and had to find somewhere else at short notice, at considerably greater cost. We took photos and contacted management. They later inspected the room, agreed it fell below their standards, and gave us a full refund. We appreciate that, but it didn't undo the disruption. Our afternoon was spent dealing with the stress and expense of arranging alternative accommodation instead of enjoying the start of our trip. We'd been looking forward to the visit and chose the hotel based on its online presentation and reviews. Since it's advertised as a four-star property, the state of our room was especially disappointing. Cleanliness is a basic requirement, and it was seriously lacking. This should never have happened, and we can't recommend staying here.

The rooms are standalone huts beside a vineyard, with good views. We had a very comfortable stay in the Hunter Valley, and check-in was easy to do virtually.

Everything about the place made me happy. The room was a good size, the area was quiet and relaxing, and check-in was easy. Great location too. I'll definitely come back!

The villa looked great, felt cozy, and had plenty of space, with nice furniture, a spacious kitchen and amenities, and very comfortable king-size beds. We also had lovely mountain range views and were close to everything. Check-in and checkout were both super simple. It was a wonderful stay for the money, and we'd definitely stay again.
