The cabin was fantastic. We stayed in cabin #2, a two-bedroom place with a large fireplace, indoor and outdoor seating, and a big outdoor BBQ area nearby. The setting is quiet, though there are plenty of vineyards and other activities close by. From our front porch in this peaceful part of the Hunter Valley, we watched kangaroos grazing each day. We also spotted two foxes, and balloons passed overhead each morning just after 7. We came from Canada with our Aussie friends, and plan to return on our next Hunter Valley trip.

Geoff the caretaker was super helpful, and the cottage itself was a delight. Our spacious two-bedroom place had a fireplace, heaters, private space, lovely views, comfortable beds, and what looked like new appliances, including a coffee machine and milk frother. We were cheering! It seems remote, but is actually centrally located for great wineries and Hunter restaurants like Muse and Yellow Billy. Book it, no regrets.

The night sky was godly, with no man-made light around, and the scenery during the day was breathtaking. Our clean, well-equipped cottage sat among vineyards, with kangaroos and rabbits roaming nearby. It was one of the most magical places I've stayed, and we loved every minute. It's close to hot air balloon places and other attractions. All the rooms had air conditioning. There was no Wi-Fi, which actually helped us enjoy the moment, though 4G worked fine for a few quick video calls. When we had trouble with the BBQ burner, Jeff, the contact guy, came quickly and helped us get it going. Such a sweet experience.

The gravel road felt challenging, especially after dark, but the hosts were great and the stay was pleasant. At $499, cottage 4 felt a bit pricey for one night.

A lovely place to rest after travelling to see family and friends for Christmas. The hosts were welcoming, and there's plenty of room to share with a rustic charm. It's tucked right in the middle of wine country, with exceptional views from the verandas.
