We had a great long weekend at Hunter Homestead. The spacious house had enough bathrooms for five women, and the property was peaceful, quiet, and full of great views. One friend got up early for lovely photos of hot air balloons in the distance, and met the friendly horse and kangaroos. The coffee pods were fully stocked, a nice touch for the morning. There's a two-bedroom cottage behind the main house, so it could suit a big group or family getaway. Outside there's a huge covered table, and I noticed a fire pit that would be great in winter. Gill was a fantastic host. Thanks, Hunter Homestead! Recommended for a lovely weekend away in the Hunter Valley.

The property was amazing, and the rooms were comfortable and well supplied. One friend somehow missed the couch foldout and slept on the cushions! Gillian had a great batch of eggs and bacon ready for breakfast on the BBQ. The secluded location in the Hunter is convenient too, and the homestead's quiet makes it perfect for a group gathering or getaway. We'll definitely stay again with friends and family.

We woke to kangaroos and hot air balloons in the next paddock, in an absolutely stunning location. The house and adjoining villa were lovely, clean, and well stocked with towels, blankets, pillows, and more. There were 15 of us, with plenty of breakfast food for both days and lots of tea, coffee, and milk.

We had a wonderful city break at The Hunter Homestead. The view of the Valley from our bedroom was incredible, and the location is prime for the Hunter Valley. Gillian was a lovely host and left the essentials for breakfast on our first morning, bacon and eggs. The property suited our big group of 10 and was excellent value. I'd definitely recommend it to family and friends and would stay again. Thanks, Gillian.

Gill, the owner, was astounding, hands down our best experience to date. The hunter homestead house was spacious, clean, affordable, and had lots to do, including a pool and fire pit. We had an incredible family getaway and would definitely come back in the near future. Thanks for having us!
