We booked three rooms at Tonic Hotel, two of them pet-friendly, and our pets were made to feel very welcome. The communal lounge by the pool was a great place for our group to hang out, and the animals on nearby properties added to the atmosphere. Ian was a fantastic host and recommended dinner at nearby Lillino’s, which we'd recommend too. The location is hard to beat for wine tours, and the rooms were beautiful with incredible views. Waking up to hot air balloons and watching shooting stars at night felt unreal. Such a special place, with lots of core memories made. We'd definitely stay again!

We loved every minute here. The property itself was beautiful, the accommodation outstanding, and the location spot on. It's easily the best place we've stayed in the Hunter Valley so far. We'd 100% come back and highly recommend it!

The rooms were really well appointed and had remarkable views. Everything was perfect at this extremely comfortable, beautiful resort, tucked away in a special spot.

Our group of 15 booked every room at Tonic Hotel, so everyone had their own space. We came together in the communal area for a great fire, casual meals, sunsets, and to sample what we'd foraged during the day. Ian was amazing, always around when needed and full of local recommendations. The rooms were clean, the amenities luxurious, and the accommodation was amazing. It's in the heart of Lovedale, handy for exploring the Hunter Valley, with lots of restaurants and wine, chocolate, and cheese tastings close by.

The view was incredible, and at dawn I woke to hot air balloons filling the sky. The room was spacious and felt luxurious, with plunger coffee and a bathtub set up with candles and bubble bath. We only wish we’d had more time there. Thank you so much.
