Our golfing group has made this our base for six years now. The place is spotless, and Ken and Sharon are very welcoming. The views from the verandahs make it even more appealing. Renovations have made the kitchen and lounge room nicer than before, and we got plenty of use out of the new BBQ and outdoor area, along with the pool and tennis courts. Some of us have also come for wine-tasting weekends with our wives and partners, who loved being so close to the wineries. Ken and Sharon have more plans to improve the facilities. Thanks again for having us.

Sovereign Hill Estate worked really well for our large group. The rooms gave everyone privacy, while the main area was a good spot for meals and activities. We especially loved the gorgeous views from the pool and tennis court. We’d definitely recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, though the accommodation feels tired and run-down, like it’s seen better days. Future guests might want to bring their own pillows, coffee machine and stereo or speaker.

We had a great stay with our small group. The pool was lovely, with a fridge, kitchenette, jukebox and a covered area for parties. There’s a shared kitchen and lounge room as well as a BBQ area outside. Sharon and Ken were really welcoming hosts, and the views were fantastic.

We had a brilliant five-day stay, with beautiful scenery and excellent hosts. They knew the best places and restaurants to try around the Hunter, and nothing was too much trouble. They also have great wine and champagne!
