The reception at The Pillars and dinner in the villa were incredible, and our family loved every moment. The venue felt unique, peaceful, and beautiful. We stayed in all the boathouses and the villa for two nights, and waking up among lotus flowers, koi fish, turtles, and even kangaroos on our wedding day felt magical. We fell for Leaves & Fishes on our very first visit, and the wedding was unforgettable. Kristy was wonderful from that first visit through the end of the day. She made us feel cared for and supported, answered our questions, and helped keep the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. Her kindness and attention to detail meant so much. We can't recommend Leaves & Fishes enough as a wedding venue. Thank you, Kristy, for making our dream wedding come true!

The onsite accommodation was incredible and added so much to the experience for us and the family members who stayed the night before and on our wedding night. Kristy and her team were wonderful to work with and made planning smooth and stress-free. Leaves & Fishes was a beautiful choice for our wedding, with peaceful gardens, water views, and a private atmosphere that made the day feel intimate and special. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

The decor was lovely, and the room was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for a serene getaway. Check-in was easy too. The coffee machine didn't work, though that's okay since we didn't mention it to the hosts. Also, the bathroom is open-plan, so there's no privacy. Those were small things, but I would have liked to know beforehand. All in all, I'll be back and highly recommend the place.

Those kangaroos appearing in the yard just beyond our window were such a lovely surprise. The whole stay at the two-bedroom Boathouse Villa at Leaves & Fishes felt peaceful and almost like stepping into another world. From the balcony, we could watch koi drift through the lake beneath the fully open lotus flowers and lily pads. It was hard to stop looking. The villa was warm and thoughtfully put together, and I really enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen. The property feels wonderfully quiet, but wineries and the rest of Hunter Valley are still close by. Kristy kindly let us book one night even though the minimum was two. We wished we could stay longer and would love to return when our schedule allows.

Our new favourite place to stay in the Hunter. It felt like a tropical escape, and we got an early check-in for a wedding. At my husband's request, there was champagne waiting on arrival. So relaxing, 20/10 recommend!!!
