Getting into Sydney was easy from the nearby Rouse Hill Metro station, and the hotel made a good base for our eight nights. We’d needed somewhere central between relatives, and the AirBnBs we’d used before were either booked up or too costly. This place came in cheaper than a nearby AirBnB and breakfast was included each morning. We tried every breakfast on the menu at the Glasshouse, and they were all delicious. The staff were really friendly, especially the breakfast team. Everything was spotless and comfortable. There was a small mix-up paying the bill at checkout, but it was sorted quickly. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit Australia.

Our room was clean and really comfortable, with tea, coffee and a mini bar available. We were in the area for a weekend conference, and the location worked well for the Hills area. Room service can be ordered through a QR code, and The Fiddler is right next door for breakfast and dining. I’d stay at Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill again, and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Hills district.

The other guests were the only real downside. Doors got slammed, people made loud calls in the hallway, and some talked loudly as they came and went without much thought for those in their rooms. That can spoil any accommodation, and it’s not unique to this hotel. The place itself was comfortable, clean and well maintained, with helpful staff. The air conditioning worked efficiently and was about the easiest system I’ve used. The bathroom was good too, and the TV was a great size.

The location was handy, with plenty of restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Rouse Hill shopping centre and the metro station were only a 5-minute drive away. We had a lovely stay, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with practical layouts and useful storage. Everyone we dealt with on our stays was attentive, friendly and caring. Well done to management 😉 We’ll be back soon.

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. Having The Fiddler next door was a great bonus, and the local shopping was good too. A big shout out to Anup, Hannah, EJ & Nathan.
