For breakfast and dinner, I can’t recommend Cellar Kitchen highly enough. My husband and I couldn’t decide between all the tempting options, so we let the chefs choose with the Feed Me option. Every plate was a sensory treat, and the chefs clearly respected the produce and took care with the presentation. Thank you, Tom, Naresh and Mia, for such delicious, enjoyable meals. Kelsey looked after us in the evening. She was charming, easy to talk to, knew the products and wines, and did everything she could to make our meal a wonderful experience. Thank you, Kelsey. We also had an exceptional stay at the Novotel Barossa, in a very comfortable studio. The whole experience, from check-in to departure, was excellent.
Kulpreet made our anniversary celebration especially memorable. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel welcome and looked after throughout our stay. We had a wonderful visit to Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, with beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere, and comfortable, clean rooms. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we left feeling relaxed and valued. We’d highly recommend it for a getaway and will definitely return.
The views are beautiful, and the resort sits alongside a golf course, a little outside the village. It has all the facilities, though it feels less luxurious than a five-star Asian hotel. There’s a heated pool, but it isn’t very big. Daily wine tasting is free from 17:00 to 18:00. The on-site restaurant is reasonable and part of the Explorer card, which gives 30/15% off food and beverages.
We picked Novotel Barossa Valley Resort for our team offsite, and it worked really well. The staff paid attention to what our group needed and kept everything running smoothly. The facilities suited our business sessions, with a professional but relaxed atmosphere that helped us have productive discussions. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed for resting after busy days, and the vineyard views made a lovely backdrop for breaks and informal networking. Highly recommended for a corporate retreat.
This was our second stay at the Novotel Barossa, and it’s perfect for a short break for two. The rooms and other resort areas were clean. We enjoyed the giant chess, pool, table tennis, evening wine tasting, and divine restaurant food. We did have some confusion with our Red Balloon voucher. Although we booked through the right portal, it didn’t seem to have been recorded. Our server explained the set menu and sharing plate prices when we were trying to find out what the voucher included, which felt a little awkward. We were then given a bill for X amount and had to query it, though that was resolved. At checkout, we were asked to pay X amount again, even though Red Balloon covered it. It may be an internal communication issue with Red Balloon redemptions, but I wanted to flag it. Apart from that, we recommend the resort and will be back, without a voucher!
