Punthill Knox

I stayed here in November 2025. It’s a quiet place, set up as simple two-story studio apartments. There’s paid parking, and reception keeps to 9 AM to 5 PM hours, so keep that in mind when arranging arrival. The room was clean, with carpeted floors and kitchen utensils in good shape. The washroom worked fine, though it felt dated. A decent, peaceful place to stay.

The location worked well for me, and the service was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just a bit small for my taste. I’d stay again and would definitely recommend it.

I especially want to thank the cleaning team. They were cheerful and helpful, and you could tell they took pride in their work. Kim was a standout, with her daily kindness, attention to detail and friendly chats making the place feel a little like home. Thanks too to Sam, Saleil and anyone I’ve forgotten, maybe a Rahul. James, Marisol, Amber and Letitcia at reception always treated me with patience and genuine care. Everyone helped make a really difficult time in my life feel more positive. I know I could be stressed and rowdy at times, so I’m sorry, and grateful for their patience. I hope management recognises what a credit this team is to the brand and to hospitality. The room suited my needs well: clean, comfortable and practical. I appreciated the washer and dryer in the bathroom, the dishwasher and the lovely balcony. The bed was two singles pushed together, but it was still very comfortable for me. Thank you, Punthill Knox, for making a tough stretch much brighter.

The room was a generous, comfortable size, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is starting to feel tired, though. Our floor had a bad smell in the corridor and heavy stains on the carpet. Parking also costs too much for an outer-suburb location.
