Right in the heart of Rutherglen, this is a great motel for a short family stay, close to many local wineries in the region 🍷. The rooms are comfortable and very nice, and the whole place was neat, tidy and clean. Highly recommend it if you need somewhere to stay in the area. Keep up the great work.

The owner called me on my way to Rutherglen to check when I'd arrive, and I was delighted to find the room already nice and warm with the heater on. At Motel Woongarra on July 24th, 2025, I found a very clean room, a comfortable bed and virtually no traffic noise. I had a relaxing sleep and was ready for the big workday ahead. I'm always very happy staying here. The rooms are nicely refurbished, and it's a short walk to cafes, wine bars, restaurants and Lake King.
