We stayed a few days and it turned into one of the best holidays I’ve had. There was plenty for a larger family, including bunk beds, and the apartment was clean and well equipped. The lake view across the golf course was lovely, with people, ducks and kangaroos around. Everything was only about 5-15 minutes away, and the price was much lower than other apartments for what we got. If I’m back in Newcastle, this would be my first choice.

The house had everything we needed, and it was easy to communicate with the owners. It’s a peaceful spot in a great location, especially for a weekend away or a golf trip since it’s on a golf resort. The main drawback was a smell in the house, perhaps from the summer heat, and some appliances could have been cleaner. The bed frames may need updating too, though it wasn’t a major problem.

Seeing kangaroos from the terrace made our weekend, especially since that’s not something we get in our UK gardens. The golf course views were fabulous, and sunset from the clubhouse veranda with a good glass of wine was spectacular. The chalet exceeded what we expected. This was the best stay of our five-week trip around Australia so far, and the photos don’t really capture it.

A lovely condo right on the golf course. There’s everything you need if you want to eat in, and the big shopping centre is just two minutes away. You can have your morning coffee while watching kangaroos and ducks, with golfers in the distance. It sleeps eight, though I think six would be comfortable. I really recommend it.

Spotting kangaroos nearby was a lovely surprise and made my child’s day. He also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi. The condo was spotless, cozy and close to everything we needed, and we loved the sunset. David got back to me quickly about a small issue that was entirely my own fault. We had a wonderful stay at Horizon Golf Course condo 105, and I’d recommend it for a couple’s night or a family trip. We’ll be back for another relaxing getaway.
