The place looks amazing, but we were unhappy with the service. Our group of four came midweek and got turned away because some of us weren’t wearing collared shirts. Other patrons without collared shirts were still playing, and the course wasn’t busy, so it felt unfair. We went to another course instead and had no problems there.
I only got to play the front nine, and the greens had recently been cored. They were still pretty quick, all things considered. There are some intimidating tee shots, and you need to be accurate. The green fees were reasonable and the golf was fun. If I get the chance to play here again, I’ll jump at it.
Horizons did a magnificent job with our Step Mum’s 100th birthday celebration on 1st March. Beth and her team were fantastic. The lunch was outstanding, and the chef deserves congratulations for its quality. The bar staff were great too. I’d highly recommend Horizons for your next function.
The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the greens were good. But the fairways were absolutely garbage. Charging $100 for 18 holes when it plays like a cow paddock is ridiculous. I’d give the course 2-1/2 stars if I could. Would I play again? Probably not.
We stopped in for breakfast and to let the boys see some golf. The team was wonderful, and the bistro manager was brilliantly kind and made us feel very welcome.
