The birds and quiet made this short stay feel restorative. I loved walking through the pristine beauty of Barrington Tops National Park, then waking up in the cosy cabin and sitting in the sun on the balcony among the beautiful cedars. I left feeling rejuvenated and blessed to have been there.
We had a lovely view from the balcony, and the friendly birds were a welcome surprise. The lodge and cabins are well equipped, with excellent cooking facilities, comfortable bedrooms, and bathrooms better than average. It’s a peaceful, relaxing place just moments from the hiking trails, making it a perfect base for walks in The Barrington Tops National Park. Look no further!
I had a fabulous time here with my family in the last two weeks. The lodges are beautiful and comfortable, and make an awesome getaway for families or couples. I’m not related to the owners. It’s unfair to leave a one-star review for a place you’ve never visited just because you’re mildly critical of its promotions. Maybe people should read the ads more carefully.
There are excellent walking tracks through the forest, and a swimming hole nearby. The cottages were cosy and well furnished, too. It’s a wonderful remote spot nestled in the national park, and a perfect retreat. I’d certainly visit again.
Bluegums Cabins felt nourishing for the mind and soul. It’s a magical place to wake up to bell birds singing and kookaburras laughing. Amanda and Gavin were perfect hosts, and the brownies waiting for us on arrival were delicious.
