White Lace Motor Inn

Zero stars if I could. The bathroom ceiling was very mouldy, the room dusty and dirty, and the trundle bed had dirty sheets. At 3:00am someone broke into our car. When we asked about the CCTV, we were told it apparently didn’t work. The owner was sketchy and weird, didn’t cooperate properly with police, and offered no help, even though our window was broken and there was glass all through the car. We had small children to travel with. Don’t stay here. Thieves obviously scope out this motel’s car park.

The room was roomy, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was a complimentary light one, which was nice. But the toilet and basin were cracked and really needed work. I was also right under the flight path, so it got very loud, and the stairs were steep.

Our car window was smashed while we stayed one night, and our wallet was stolen. The owner called the cops but left straight away. He also said they weren't going to come, which wasn't true, since they arrived about 30 minutes later. We were told the CCTV cameras apparently don't work. The place felt super sus, like a thieves' thoroughfare with no working cameras. I wouldn't stop there again unless I had Rick Sanchez's car from Rick and Morty. Never again.

The spa was lovely, and we didn't hear the people staying right next door at all. Our spacious spa room had a double bed, a single bed, and a roll out mattress underneath, plus a big bathroom with a huge mirror. It was exactly what we needed while visiting the area. Booking online was easy, and we had a great rest and stay.
