Comfort Inn The Rose

The staff are super friendly, and it’s very pet and people friendly. Rooms are nice, though the facilities are limited, so bring your own shampoo if you need it. The continental breakfast is great value, with a pancake maker, toast, cereal, coffee, and juice. There’s also a small dinner menu with pizza, parmi, and amazing rib fillet steak. Prices are extremely good, and dinner gets delivered to your room.

A very friendly host and staff, and it’s pet friendly too. The booking included breakfast, and there’s a restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool is very nice and large. A great place to stop and rest for the night on the way. Highly recommend!!!

The owners let me have the room I’d booked even though I arrived well before the official check-in time (11:00), which I appreciated. My family room had enough space and was very clean, with a seating area, utensils and plates, hot drink facilities, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Parking was right by the room. The owner said spaces weren’t designated, but I had no trouble parking nearby, including when I came and went. Being on a main road made it easy to merge into traffic when leaving the next day. A functional, family-friendly motel, highly recommended.

The outside of the Rose Motel looks well maintained, but the room made me regret staying there. The mattress felt like a concrete slab with a sheet for comfort, and the pillows were so thin they seemed likely to vanish if I turned sideways. I’ve seen thicker deli ham. The wooden shutters instead of proper glass windows let every conversation, car door, footstep, and late-night argument outside come through. I felt like I knew more about the people outside than my own family. With decent mattresses, proper windows, and pillows with some depth, the place might have potential. As it stands, that one night felt like a week of discomfort, noise, and regret.
