The complimentary breakfast was simple, but appreciated each morning. We had a large, traditionally furnished room with a spa bath, though it took 40 minutes to fill, so plan ahead if you want a soak. Storage was limited, and the wardrobe was wobbly, it wasn't attached to the drawer unit below and tipped forward when opened. The WiFi was slow and not always up to streaming. Clydesdale Manor is a lovely building inside and out, with nice gardens and plenty of parking. It's a couple of kilometres from central Hobart, about a half-hour walk, which worked for a day out but was inconvenient for dinner and drinks unless you drive or take a taxi. There are some excellent places to eat nearby. We stayed three nights at the end of our Tasmania road trip.

Really enjoying our stay at Clydesdale Manor. The room is lovely and the Sandy Bay location is fantastic. Getting in was easy with the clear instructions, and parking inside is free. Recommended!

The grounds are beautiful, and parking is free. Our bedroom was gorgeous and spacious, with a jacuzzi bath. Everything we needed was there, it was exceptionally clean, and we had a wonderful time.

There were plenty of spots to unwind, from the lounge and lobby to the bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the location was great, with lovely views of the cove.

The continental breakfast each morning was just right, with quality food and drinks, and getting to the main part of town was easy. An Uber cost under $10, cheaper than parking in town. The manor was stunning, with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and an amazing spa bath in our room. It had everything we could ask for, both in the room and around the house. I'd highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.
