It was a freezing, heavily rainy night, and I have fibromyalgia, so I need heat to function. My sons and I had only just turned on the thermostat controlled heaters when Graham came in and said the rooms were like a furnace and nobody could sleep. He said he’d taken it upon himself to lower the temperature after entering our accommodation, without contacting us or asking permission. We found that very uncomfortable, ended up apologising profusely, and told him we’d only just switched the heaters on. He didn’t apologise for the privacy breach or for accusing us over a service we’d paid for. We left 24 hours before our paid stay ended. 😖

The host sent useful instructions and replied quickly, and breakfast had a tasty range of fresh things. Everything was super clean and smelled nice, and the property seemed well maintained. It had all we needed for a weekend away. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend 100%.

A comfortable place at an affordable price, with Bendigo’s attractions easy to get to. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with family or friends.

The hosts were attentive while still giving us space, and the place was well cared for. Couldn’t ask for better!
