We found parking right outside our room, which was handy, and the location made it easy to get to the Botanical Gardens, Wildlife Park, and Sovereign Hill. Our family room cost $162 through Booking.com. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and working air conditioning. It also had satellite TV, a microwave, fridge, toiletries, and the other amenities we needed. Check-in was listed for 2 p.m. and checkout for 10 a.m., but they were punctual and let us in a little early.

The room itself was in good condition and looked like the photos. It was quiet, with a supermarket and Mc Donald nearby. The bathroom and toilet, though, weren't very clean and were a bit worse than they appeared online.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfy too. It was the most comfortable room I've ever stayed in Ballarat, so I'd highly recommend staying here.

Aldi, Coles, and Woolworths are close by, and central Ballarat is an easy 10-15 minute drive. Check-in was quick and simple. They take a $100 bond, and since you don't need to visit reception to check out, you just leave the keys in the box out front. There's an outdoor pool too. The rooms are large, spacious, and very clean, so it's good value for the price. The decor, especially in the bathrooms, could use an upgrade. The doors are a bit thin and let in noise from outside, though the main road noise doesn't come through. Overall, a good motel for what you pay.
