We chose this place because it was close to our friends, who live outside the city centre, and easy to get to. We're from interstate, and the price was comparable to other places in Ballarat city. It was also pet friendly, which mattered because we'd just bought a puppy. The manager was happy to see her and gave her a bone. I've stayed in all sorts of hotels, motels, and other accommodation, and this was one of my favourite motel stays. We booked through booking.com and arrived within an hour. The managers were welcoming and friendly.

We were in Ballarat with the family for the School Sport Nationals and stayed here for a few days. The service was outstanding, and the rooms were spotless. They did the daily cleaning at a time that worked for us, which was really convenient. Staff were genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. Everything in Ballarat was no more than 10 minutes away. We'd happily return next time we're here.

At $130 a night, this wasn't cheap, and the motel was crap. The bed was okay, but the windows and blinds were filthy, the blinds were broken, and the bathroom was filthy and mouldy. It was dusty and yuk. They need to hire a cleaner or clean it properly themselves. Never again.
