Sheer Pleasure Accommodation

We used this as a base for seeing NW Tasmania, including the Tarkine, Arthur River, and Stanley, and the location worked really well. The views over Smithton and the estuary, and sometimes Bass Strait, were incredible. We stayed five nights in the end unit at Sheer Pleasure in Oct/Nov this year. It was comfortable, modern, incredibly clean, and serviced daily. During three days of storms, rain, and wind, sitting in the recliners with the heater on and watching nature do its thing was so relaxing. Heather and Barry were excellent hosts and gave us privacy. After a week driving around Tasmania and hiking over 70km, this was just what we needed. The water view, gas fireplace, very comfortable recliners and bed made it sheer pleasure. Heather and David were very friendly, and the welcome bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, and sourdough was a lovely treat. The bathroom dehumidifier helped keep the place from getting muggy after a shower. Thank you!

We highly recommend this place for couples. It's quiet and comfortable, and a great base for exploring the many first class natural attractions. We couldn't have picked a better place for our first night in Tasmania, on our first visit to the state. The view from our balcony was stunning, and there was a generous continental breakfast for two, plus cheese, crackers, and a bottle of wine. The room was amazing for the price.
