Woolmunda Park Cottages

We found this place on Stayz and arranged our two-night stay with Cheryl and Keith. They made us feel welcome straight away, explained what was happening nearby and around the property, and were friendly and helpful with requests. Cheryl has a little hobby that the kids will enjoy. Ask her about it. We stayed in Cottage Two, the one farther into the property. It was clean and comfortable, with a main bedroom with a large double bed, possibly a queen, two single beds in the second room, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen had an oven, cooktop, microwave, fridge, and pretty much everything needed for cooking. The fire was ready when we arrived and easy to light, and it warmed the cottage nicely when it got cool. Keith was around if we needed more supplies. The beds were soft and comfortable, with electric blankets. There’s a lot to enjoy across the 20 acres: a dam, alpacas and chickens, mini golf, a playground, around eight acres of open grass, and bushland to explore. We saw kangaroos and wombats, and early risers might spot a group of about six kangaroos on the grass. The shared BBQ area seats around eight, and there’s an eight-seat spa under a private cover. It was peaceful enough to wake up to the sounds of nature. This was a great country break from the usual rush, with historical places to see in Smythesdale. Check opening times for the pub and other spots before making plans. Delacombe Town Centre is less than ten minutes away for supplies. We were running late and didn’t manage to take photos before leaving. We’d just finished cleaning up, so they show the facilities, not necessarily the condition you’ll find on arrival.
