Springs Shoalhaven

We spent two nights here in peak season. The hotel was excellent, with a nice view of the golf course, and the sports club next door had great food and drinks. The pool is a big drawcard and was great, though it needs more cleaning during the night. I'd stay again.

The rooms were large and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom and a great outlook over the golf course. Customer service was great too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Worst experience ever. There was a bad smell in the room. After checkout, they charged a smoking cleaning fee, regardless of whether it was you or someone else. I didn't hear any explanation. It didn't make sense, especially when you're staying with kids. Checking the camera would easily show you smoking outside the room. Never recommend to anyone.

I booked a room for the night before my wedding because I wanted a lazy evening by the pool. When I checked in and went to use it, the gate was locked. Staff told me it was closed and wouldn't reopen until the next day. The pool was the only reason I'd booked, but when I asked about a complimentary breakfast, they said no. I also asked for a late checkout so my groom party and I would have somewhere to get ready, since the wedding wasn't until 1. Again, I got a blunt no. The room itself was clean and fine for what you'd expect, but they made no effort at all to accommodate us.
