We watched kangaroos, wallabies and parrots from the front deck, and the bush walks among the granite boulders were a highlight. The lookout at the top of the property is a lovely spot for sunset. Our clean, comfortable villa had everything we needed for a relaxing three-night stay, including some thoughtful treats from our attentive host, Nicci. There’s plenty of privacy between the villas on the 10-acre property, yet Stanthorpe is only a five-minute drive away. Just right for a Granite Belt visit. We’d love to stay again.

We felt relaxed as soon as Nicci greeted us. The cottage was cosy, clean and well equipped, and the fireplace made it especially inviting. From the deck we could watch a beautiful sunset, then the next afternoon we followed Nicci’s suggestion and took walking track 1 up the hill for even better views. Although it’s close to town, the property is wonderfully peaceful. There are good places to eat nearby, or you can pick up supplies in town and use the BBQ on the deck. A lovely place for a weekend to unwind and reset. We’ll be back.

We’d driven past 31 the rocks on earlier trips to Stanthorpe, so it was lovely to finally stay this time. The walks and sunset views were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the local produce. Nicci, thank you for stopping by to meet us and for sharing this lovely part of Queensland, Australia. The accommodation had all the thoughtful details, and the relaxed atmosphere made us wish we could stay longer. Unfortunately, work was calling. Thanks so much.

The villa felt welcoming and very comfortable, and everything around it was calm and peaceful. It’s on the edge of town, so places are easy to get to while the setting still feels remote. Nicci is a wonderful host.

There are only three cabins, with plenty of space and privacy between them, and the property is quiet and beautiful, with kangaroos and birds around. Inside, each cabin has a generous stash of goodies that you wouldn’t normally expect or have to pay for. It’s just a couple of minutes from town, and a fantastic place to stay in Stanthorpe with everything we could want.
