We’ve stayed here several times, including for 7-8 days with my daughter, her husband and their young kids. There's plenty of room, with a spacious, well-appointed living area and enough space to park cars. The house can be closed off so naps aren't disturbed. The deck on the top unit is large, lovely for relaxing with a drink. The hosts are easy to reach and happy to help. A top place to stay, and it complements the other services in St Helens. Apartment one was beautiful and so tidy, with a gorgeous view. Being so close to the bay meant I saw all kinds of birdlife. It had all the facilities you need when staying away from home, and the location was perfect for town and the beach. Very happy with my stay :D

We had a wonderful stay, with great rooms and a big kitchen. The place has everything you need, and it's only a few minutes' drive from St Helens. You can walk into town if you're fit enough. The supplied push bikes are average, so bring your own. The main drawback was being able to hear everything between floors if you had noisy neighbours upstairs or down. Still, a great place to stay.

Our group has been coming back for over 10 years, and Janine is a great host. St Helens on the Bay is perfectly located for a visit to St Helens, and the accommodation is comfortable, well equipped and great for larger groups. Thanks, hope we can return soon.

Everything else was 💯% on the top floor, but for the two nights we were there it reeked strongly of curry. We left the windows open and still couldn't clear the smell. That's why I gave service only 4 stars.
