The view and location were lovely, and we had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were all equipped with what we needed. We'd love to return.

Our A-frame chalet slept four and was quaint but spacious, with direct views of the water. We arrived late and left early, so the welcome breakfast basket was especially appreciated. I wish we'd stayed an extra night to relax and enjoy the lake views behind the property and the surroundings. It's very close to the Westcoast Wilderness Railway journey from Strahan, and was very affordable. Highly recommend.

A cute A-frame cabin with a gorgeous, peaceful outlook over Macquarie Harbour. It was a great base for Strahan, just a short walk to the wharf or the Wilderness Train.

It was very run down, inside and out. The exterior is rotting and needs a proper paint job. We could hear people talking in the rooms next door, as well as their toilets and showers. We were in the middle, so noise came from both sides. The bunks felt dangerous to climb. There wasn't enough cutlery, just one teaspoon and three forks for four people, and the bathroom fan didn't work. We booked four nights but left after two. It looked nothing like the photos.
