We loved the meal so much that we booked a stay too, and that turned out to be a great decision. The harbour view was fabulous, and our bed and pillows were the most comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with a huge shower and bath, and everything felt perfect. The meat was fabulous, cooked just right and served beautifully. The wine and aperitifs were great as well. Huge thanks to Jacinta, the owner, and Jazz for the extra special service and warm welcome.

Sunsets from the balcony were a perfect end to each day, and breakfast overlooking Macquarie Harbour was a lovely way to start. We spent three wonderful nights at Risby Cove in the Harbour Suite. The suite was spacious and luxurious, with thoughtful touches such as a bar area and sink. After our long drive, the welcome drinks and cheeseboard were an unexpected, relaxing surprise. Special thanks to the manager, who was happy to help with anything. You made our time in Strahan so memorable.

Jazz gave us a lovely welcome, and the apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and looked brand new. I think it had been refurbished recently, though my photos don't do it justice. We stayed in the Theatre Storyteller’s Suite for two nights in February 2025 and weren't disappointed. We appreciated the little extras, including welcome drinks, a cheese platter and salted popcorn. We ate at the restaurant on our first night, where the serving staff were both professional and friendly and the food was excellent. I'm vegetarian and was very happy with the options I chose. Breakfast was continental, with plenty of variety, and the restaurant view was very tranquil.

The hot tub had a great view over the harbour. We spent four pleasant nights in the chalet, with sunshine and rain, and found it modern with lots of thoughtful touches. The bathroom was spacious, with heated floors and towel rails; there were very comfortable armchairs and a compact but well-equipped kitchenette.

The lamb was so tender and delicious, and the catch of the day was spot on. We had a wonderful, memorable meal at the restaurant. It's been our favourite meal in Tassie so far. What a hidden gem in Strahan!
