Strahan Bungalows

We liked not having to carry a room key, since entry was by keypad code. The chalet was self-contained and well equipped for cooking, with modern appliances. It's close to IGA, a pharmacy, and BP petrol station, and only about a four-minute drive to town and the pier. There’s a laundry on site with large washers and dryers, $4 each in two-dollar coins. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location was lovely and easy to get around on foot, and the place was very clean. The bathroom could use a refresh as it looks a bit tired. Also, don't use the toaster. The wiring is odd, and pulling out the drawer trips the fuse.

We had plenty of space in the bungalow, with comfortable beds and clean, modern furniture. The bathroom had a great shower head and surrounds, and the bungalow felt welcoming and accommodating. A nice touch was the chocolates in the fridge. The only drawback was morning traffic noise, though it was bearable. I'd recommend staying here.

The kitchen had everything we needed, from a stove and microwave to a full sink and cooking utensils, whether making a roast or just heating baked beans. The modern self-contained bungalow was cosy, very clean, and quiet, and the heater warmed it quickly for a winter stay. It seems especially suited to families who like to cook for themselves. I only wish we'd booked more than two nights. I really hope to come back next year.
