The place was so peaceful and beautiful that the city stress just seemed to fade away, and time almost stood still. We were there for a wedding, and the welcome from three lovely Bernese Mountain Dogs was a real joy. The gorgeous Donkey's were cuddly and full of character, too. John was a wonderful host, warm and witty, with plenty of interesting yarns. He made us a lovely breakfast, and the coffee was top notch. Our bed was so comfortable, we hadn't slept that well in a long time, which I hadn't expected from a B & B. We only got to meet Pam in passing, but my husband and I will definitely visit Halls and Falls again. Highly recommended.

Our golden retriever had the time of his life, welcomed straight into the pack by three majestic Bernese Mountain dogs, Abby, Jordi and my favourite Stefan. Pam calls it not just dog-friendly, but the dog-friendliest place, and we agree. Pam and John were kind, looked after us so well, and even pampered us. The quiet nature setting is only 90 minutes from Melbourne city. We definitely plan to return, and highly recommend a stay.

A great spot for a relaxing weekend, with a dog welcome too. We loved our stay in the Berner B&B at Halls On Falls Homestead. It's a beautiful farm in a picturesque location, and the hosts were fantastic. What more could you want? 😊🐾

Pam put so much thought and time into making our engagement night away special, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. My partner and I couldn't have been happier, and we're grateful to Pam and John for all their kindness and hospitality. Thank you both for being part of our story, Pam and John. We stayed in the private, cosy Stringybark house. Pam arranged flowers and balloons, put together an antipasto platter with our favourite treats, and made breakfast the next morning. Everything was taken care of and felt just right. Halls on Falls is without a doubt the best getaway in Strath Creek. I've included a snapshot of a few of the extra special arrangements Pam organized for us. With endless appreciation and thanks, Sharon and Justin 😊

We've stayed here three times now, and sitting on the deck in the early evening, watching the sunset and all the native wildlife, is a lovely way to unwind. The BNB is immaculately presented with everything you could want, and if dinner is offered, take it. They're both excellent cooks. Abby and Bentley, the Bernese Mountain Dogs, are absolutely gorgeous and friendly hosts. Their humans, Pam and John, are wonderful helpers.
