That bed was so comfortable, and I slept right through the night. The house works well for a couple of nights with family or friends, and you can cook there. It has heaps of pots, pans, bowls, plates and cutlery, so you only need to bring spices and ingredients. The facilities are great, and the mountain and valley views are superb. I just wish the sheep were a little closer.

We spent ages just looking out the window at the lovely scenery. The cottage feels light, peaceful and welcoming, and it's beautifully furnished. The host was lovely too. It was really hard to leave, and I'd definitely stay here again.

I could sit there all day with a cuppa and that superb view. The place was clean and tidy, with lots of amenities, and the host responded quickly whenever we had a question or needed something sorted. Such a great weekend stay, I'd definitely come back.

The view over the Strzelecki ranges made our family breakfasts so beautiful. We spent the whole three days at Halcyon Cottage Retreat without leaving, and the neat, comfortable house made it easy to enjoy time together. We came for a long weekend and a special occasion, and the memories we made there mean a lot to us. Thanks to Jacqui and her family for making it feel so magical. Halcyon Cottage Retreat really brought everyone closer, and we'll see you next time. I'd highly recommend it for a family getaway.

The apartment is so well appointed, with a fireplace, two baths, leather couches, quality appliances and those magical views. Jacqui was a wonderful host. Halcyon cottage is the most amazing Airbnb I've stayed at in Victoria, and the million dollar view makes it a MUST for any occasion. Highly recommended!
