The staff were a real help during what can be a stressful trip, and the rooms were modern, clean, and quiet considering the area. 175 Hotel Westmead is handy for both the hospital precinct and the train station. Free parking and fast wifi are nice extras. It’s simple and comfortable, with good value for money.

The location near Westmeade Hospital was useful, and the bedsheets and room were clean. The room itself was dated, mostly in appearance, but simple. I paid $244 for one person for one night in the Paramatta Region, which felt very expensive. There was noise from nearby rooms and surrounding areas, and the narrow hallways were ugly and dirty. Smells from neighbours’ activities and the hallways were noticeable and could get into the room. Ventilation in this aged hotel isn’t good. At a lower price, I wouldn’t have been so critical.

I’m here because of the hospital location, and the staff, especially Rebecca, have been obliging. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and they’re happy to help with anything, which can make you feel safe when you’re here for difficult reasons. You can get Coles delivered by Uber, and there’s a microwave plus tea and coffee, so you don’t have to pay top dollar for food. There’s takeaway nearby too, along with the train and tram.

The office is open 24/7, and the staff are friendly. The room was lovely and clean, with parking available and good security. It’s close to Westmead hospital and skin hospital, and there’s a coffee shop on site. Highly recommend.
