Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Reception staff were helpful and suggested places to visit around western Sydney. There was usually plenty of street parking. I waited to post this because they said the deposit would be returned in 4 to 5 business days, and it was. Would highly recommend.

The room was really dirty and in rough shape. The toaster was broken, the carpet torn, and there was no air conditioning. It’s very basic, so maybe it’s okay if all you need is somewhere to crash, but that’s about it. I’d rather get an Airbnb.

This was a business trip, with several rooms booked online for employees and the company covering the costs. After full payment and bond fees were paid, check-in took more than two hours. Then at 9:30 pm we were told to leave because they wanted emailed copies of the company owner’s driver’s licence and credit card. I’d already spoken with the payment department and explained the arrangement. I also wouldn’t expect to hand over a copy of my own credit card just to stay in the room. Management was aggressive and hostile. Reception staff apologized but didn’t help, saying they were just doing what they were told.

The staff at APX Parramatta were friendly, helpful and quick to respond throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained, and the location was really convenient. We had a very pleasant visit and would gladly return or recommend it to others.

The apartment looked modern and was reasonably clean, with fairly updated furnishings. But sleeping was awful because the bedrooms have no air conditioning and got extremely hot and stuffy overnight. For a place advertised as a 4-star hotel, that was a major let-down and a basic comfort I expected. Without proper cooling in the bedrooms, I couldn’t enjoy the stay.
