Bar Broadway

Check-in and check-out were easy, and room 108 was spotless. I didn’t hear the bar downstairs; the bathroom was serviceable and the bed was fine. Street noise was the one small downside. It bothered me a bit on the first night, but not the second. I’d recommend Bar Broadway as good value, in my opinion.

The meat was basically inedible because it wasn’t cooked the way we clearly asked. When we raised it, there was no real apology and no effort to put things right. The staff also came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, like we were bothering them. You expect the food to be cooked properly and the service to be decent when you eat out. Neither happened here, and I left very disappointed with Bar Broadway. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms are fine and the bathrooms clean. But there’s a constant zooming sound from one of the technical installations in some rooms. It runs 24/7, and I couldn’t sleep without earplugs. Luckily, they were provided in the room.

We had a few drinks with family during Saturday happy hour. The drinks were great value and the main areas looked well presented, with a friendly atmosphere. Finding a cone piece and pills on the bathroom floor gave us a good laugh.
