Belgravia Mountain Guest House

Ronnie and the staff were always around to answer questions, and the service was exceptional. Our room had a lovely comfortable bed and a modern ensuite, and we stayed nice and warm. It was also great being able to use the neighboring property owned by the same group, which has a lovely sauna. This place would work really well for a family reunion or a large group. A lovely property.

The breakfast was disappointing compared with other B&Bs I've tried in the Blue Mountains. It was a very basic continental spread of tinned fruit, cereal and tea. At similarly priced guest houses, there's usually some kind of hot meal, which would've been lovely in the middle of winter. There were smaller room issues too: a kettle and tea bags but no mugs, just one saucer, and one broken lamp. The electricity wasn't working when we arrived, though management fixed it quickly. I don't think I'll stay again.

My mum stayed here. The older-style rooms were nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. The hallway and shared lounge were cold, and the kitchen was closed for winter, which wasn't good. We could only use the microwave and jug. There was also a horrible picture of a demon on the wall, which I took down. Some nicer pictures and more heating would help.

We're an elderly disabled couple, and they booted us out of our pre-booked ground-floor room and put us on the second floor in their other building. It smelled of moldy wet carpet. Nobody apologized or tried to give us the room we'd booked. NOT HAPPY JAN!
