The location made it easy to reach the highway and nearby Blue Mountains attractions, and parking was hassle-free. It was also quiet and well managed. The rooms at Blue Mountain Highway Motel were comfortable, clean and well maintained, so I could relax after a long day travelling. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. I'd happily stay again and recommend it for a comfortable, reliable stay at a good price.

AVOID!!!! The place smelled awful, and every surface was coated in years of dirt and grime, leaving us nowhere to put our belongings. The beds were made, but the sheets clearly hadn't been washed since the previous guest. There were bodily fluids, hair and crumbs on the pillows and inside the sheets. Black mould covered the walls. Most bathroom tiles were broken or missing, with rotting flooring underneath, and the place seemed like a major asbestos risk. Light fittings were falling off. One ceiling light had a band aid stuck on it to help hold it up on one side. Sleeping in our car in the car park would have been safer and more comfortable. Nobody should pay to stay there. Disgusting. This place needs to be condemned.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the electric blanket was a welcome touch I hadn't known I needed. Self check-in was handy for arriving after hours, although we got there around 6pm. This is really a one-night-stop kind of place, right on the highway, so traffic noise is expected. I'd recommend ear plugs, which I forgot to bring. The shower wasn't very hot.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The shower was so mouldy I refused to use it, and the bed cover had brown stains. The carpet was brown and sticky, so I kept my thongs on the whole time. Just move on, this place is disgusting.

These rooms only just meet a minimum standard. They were clean and tidy, but being between the Great Western Highway and the Blue Mountains train line made the road noise brutal at night. Take your chances, and only stay if you're stuck for somewhere to sleep.
