The pork cutlet was delicious, and the food and beer were great. The venue was very clean too. There’s apparently a rooftop, but I couldn’t get access on the day. Not sure if it’s closed down, but that would be a shame.

A classic Aussie local pub, full of locals enjoying a drink and chatting with each other. I was there for a group gathering, and we had platters. The hospitality and food were awesome, well beyond what I expected. If you’re after a good Aussie pub, give this one a try!

Aidan is an outstanding bar manager, and the Guinness was the best pint I’ve had in Sydney. The food was awesome too. I had a fantastic medium-rare sirloin, and my wife got the seafood special. Yum. Don’t miss out on some of the best food in North Sydney!

A lovely old pub in a great spot, and the food is pretty good too. I haven’t stayed in the rooms, but might consider it sometime. They look ok.

Nicolas, the manager at Blues Hotel, really lifts the atmosphere of the bar. He’s professional, attentive and always focused on making sure things go smoothly. The service is excellent.
