Our daughter's first birthday party at the Southern Cross Hotel went so smoothly. The food was great, served hot and on time, and staff were polite and helpful to us and our vendors. We appreciated being able to bring toys, play our own music, bring our cake and sweets, and stay past 5pm. They also readily packed the leftovers for us to take home. It was a great experience, and several friends mentioned they were thinking about holding their kids' birthdays there too. Definitely recommend the venue.

The food was amazing, and the room was set up beautifully for our company Christmas Party. The staff and DJ on the night were wonderful, patient, and attentive. Lara, the event planner, was organized, friendly, and made sure we had what we needed throughout. She made the whole process feel effortless, and everything from start to finish was smooth and stress-free. I'd highly recommend booking an event here. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out! 🎄✨

Lara helped us and supported us throughout the planning, and her help made all the difference. The canapés were delicious, the venue looked beautiful, and everything ran smoothly for my mum's surprise party. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special. Lara made me feel in great hands while planning my daughter's christening, and the Southern Cross team helped make it a wonderful night. The food was A++, the room setup was amazing, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Great location too. Highly recommended.

Monday was steak night, and my steak was cooked just how I asked. It came with chips and salad and was delicious, with prompt service. It was great not having to go far for a good meal, and the staff were accommodating. I wasn't sure at first about staying above a pub, but there was no noise from downstairs and the atmosphere was soothing. The room was clean and tidy, and the soft bed was comfortable, the sort you can sink into. A pleasant overnight stay in suburban Sydney.
