KULA North Sydney

Really lovely, clean place, with lots of space and comfort. The three-bedroom apartment had a great big balcony and beautiful aircon. The host was accommodating and quick to reply. I’d stay again.

The team at Kula in Crows Nest, North Sydney were excellent. The rooms are always clean and in great condition, and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Whenever I needed something, they got to it quickly and made things easy. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

I was impressed by how complete the cooking equipment was, and the unit is right across from the metro. I’d worried about road noise, but the windows shut it out nicely. Room service was prompt too. I emailed questions and got quick replies even on weekends. When I reported mold and floor clips, the issues were fixed quickly. They also installed a safe box when I asked, since it had been missing.

The location is excellent, but the apartment was very dirty. Black mould covered parts of the bathrooms and areas around the windows. There was constant loud banging from the floors above, the furniture was dirty, and the couch was broken. Other guests I spoke with in the lift said their apartments were dirty too. The beds were futon style and very low, with mattresses sloping so your feet sat higher than your head. Bring your own sheets and tissues, since none are provided, and be ready to cover the dirty mattress and clean the mould yourself. With broken furniture and so much cleaning to do, it costs a lot for a stay like this.
