Being able to get into the city for coffee, food, and a look around while staying near the beaches was the best of both worlds. We loved having the beach so close for morning walks. My partner and I found the room private, comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and we couldn't fault our stay. We'd happily recommend it to friends visiting Sydney.

I spent nearly two weeks here for work, and the location was a real plus: Bondi Beach, a range of eateries, and a bar right next door. Each room has its own passcode, which I liked. I got quite sick during the stay, so the heater function on the A/C and the staff promptly changing the bedding were especially appreciated. The room and toilets were spacious and clean, and for a 3 star place it felt closer to a 4 star stay by European standards. Finding my way around was a little tricky, since some shared rooms also needed a passcode. The mini fridge was broken, but that wasn't enough to take off a star. I'd consider putting up work event guests here.

The rates were very reasonable, and we found the rooms clean and comfortable. Staff were happy to accommodate our needs at High Cross Randwick. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back. Thanks!

The shared kitchen could use attention. Its cooking gear was old, not well maintained, and missing some essentials. The room itself was nice and very clean, though, and both the location and staff were great.

Room 210 is one example: the shower recess needs proper sealing to keep water from spilling onto the floor. The bathroom mixer also needs a shape and size that work for the basins.
