Holly Lodge Medlow Bath

Holly Lodge was a beautiful cabin for our four nights away. The outdoor areas were lovely and relaxing, and it had a real cabin-in-the-woods atmosphere. Comfy beds, a fully self-contained kitchen, family spaces, and a lift made it great for a family holiday. Thank you for having us, we'd definitely recommend staying here.

We wanted a quiet, cozy bush getaway for a weekend with the girls, and this cabin was just right. Dark and peaceful, with comfy beds and lounges, and everything we needed. It felt like a proper cabin where you can switch off and recharge. We'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing break, and we'll be back. 😘😁

Holly Lodge feels like stepping into a storybook. The giant pine trees fill the large front and backyards, giving the place a really unique feel compared with the rest of the Blue Mountains. Inside, the big log fire, cozy couches, rustic kitchen, and comfortable beds are all delightful. Can't wait to return!

We've been to Holly Lodge twice now, and the second stay was every bit as wonderful as the first. It's ideally located in Medlow Bath, so we could explore all over the mountains region and get back in reasonable time for an afternoon nap. The lodge practically invites one, especially when the sun falls and the filtered light reaches the back, like the lights have been dimmed. A glass of red wine by the fire was how we ended each day. Driving slowly up the driveway, then seeing the lodge emerge among the pine trees, makes the hectic outside world fade away. If you enjoy walking, there's a 'Blue Mountains Best Bush Walks' guide on the bookshelf. We used it on both visits and found great walks just a short drive away. Jenolan Caves is a fairly easy hour and bit drive, and well worth seeing. Lucas Cave and the Orient Cave are our favourites. On a clear day, high tea around the corner at the Hydro Majestic is a lovely afternoon, especially with a table by the windows. It's hard to imagine being disappointed with any part of a stay here.
