Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point, an IHG Hotel

The neighborhood is a big part of what makes this Hotel Indigo Potts Point stay so good. It has a real community feel, with cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, and some more “colorful” late-night options too. The hotel itself captures the character and slightly quirky history of the area better than almost any Indigo I've stayed in. I spend 120+ nights a year at IHG hotels worldwide and have for more than a decade, so I've seen a lot of the brand. My room was at the rear, surprisingly quiet at night, and even had a Harbour Bridge view. It was spotless and practical. Breakfast is simple but covers the basics, and the coffee is genuinely great. The team were upbeat, warm, and engaged, and check-in was effortless. There also seem to be three brand-new lifts coming online, a good sign of investment in the property. I'm not sure why its rating isn't higher. This is a brilliant and seriously underrated hotel, and I highly recommend it.

I'd absolutely stay again. The staff have been lovely and attentive, and the small breakfast is well stocked with a limited set of good-quality options. I'd take that over a huge buffet that's poorly managed any day. The hotel isn't fancy or fussy, but it's comfortable, clean, and has little touches that make it feel special.

We appreciated having a good breakfast each morning and the staff's helpful attitude. The hotel is in a busy, lively neighborhood, with trains about a five-minute walk away. It made a good base for resting after days of sightseeing around Sydney, and the price felt reasonable for a big city. If you need clothes, Bondi Junction has a huge shopping mall, handy if you forgot a nice shirt for the opera house or want to head to the beach. We usually look for unusual places when traveling, like castles in Scotland or caravan parks in Australia, but Hotel Indigo was extremely convenient. Definitely recommend it if you plan to use public transport instead of driving.

The staff were the best part, extremely friendly and helpful. I was here for work and really appreciated the service and convenience. It's a nice-sized hotel with good amenities, plus a little café with convenient breakfast and good options.
